Catamaran Plus Snorkeling en Arrecife y Visita Exclusiva a Isla Mujeres

Andrés (boy) took us on Samba 3 catamaran to Isla Mujeres. The snorkeling early on was very pretty, and is great for beginners. Drinks on board were good and plentiful. Food when we arrived at Isla Mujeres was a good bufet. We had to wait a bit for the golf cart we rented to arrive, but we were then able to drive to Playa Sur and the park there. Drive back was uneventful, but although every one told us it was a 20 minute drive, it was 30 both times. Return trip was full of music. Everyone on board was there for a good time, and that’s what was had.

The entire day, start to finish was well worth the value and the stupendous experience! They came all the way to Playa Del Carmen to pick us up and drop off. The boat was immaculate and spacious. The snorkeling was only about 30 minutes, but a truly wonderful experience w/tons of fish. And we were left plenty of time to eat at the beautiful beach club at Mujeres and the explore the town and beach.
The staff was AMAZING!! They truly were the icing on the cake - went above & beyond with stellar service, drinks on demand, and wonderful, fun music. Dancing on the way home was a blast - and they sang happy bday to all with Feb birthdays on the boat. Too cute!

Andy/Andres with Samba 3 was great! He even had us communicate with him via WhatsApp and was very responsive. It was a pleasure to join this experience!

I genuinely cannot stress this enough: do not waste a single dollar or minute of your life on this boat trip. What’s marketed as a relaxing escape to a beautiful island turns into an exhausting circus the second you arrive. Instead of enjoying the scenery, you’re relentlessly chased down by vendors pushing bracelets, hats, massages—anything they can get you to buy. It’s less “tropical paradise” and more “high-pressure outdoor mall.” Save yourself the frustration and skip this entirely

Amazing 12/10 experience!!!! Drinks, vibes, and music going and flowing. Music on the boat was fire! Snorkeling was quick - you’re on a mission to swim across the reef, and back on the boat for more partying and optional pics (photographer helped us pose!) Food at the beach club was good, fun opportunity to eat and chat with other passengers. Helped us with renting a golf cart on the island which we chose to do with an outside fee.

The team led by Andy Boy provided a very enjoyable day. They looked after us from the moment we boarded the catamaran to when we got back. There was plenty of drinks on offer, the food however on the Island could have been better. Overall it was a good experience!

We booked this for a high school galentines/bday trip with 6 of us from HS. It was my first time in Cancun, but I’ve been going to Cabo because we are California girls, but one of our friends was from Texas so she suggested Cancun so we all decided since it was her birthday we would go to Cancun. she booked this trip based on the fact that the boat was intimate there was only about 25 people and not over 50 packed in! The boat was clean the staff was very professional.

I LOVED IT! The crew was fun to watch and had great chemistry. You have to have that for a fun trip because you spend a lot of time on the open sea. Super engaging and if I was stable enough ( and the ocean cooperated) I would have loved dance lesson’s.

This is a review of an excursion on the Oceanix catamaran boat named “Islamarada.” Our group of three couples took a four-hour excursion with Captain Victor, host Alex, photographer Saadi, and AB seaman Alfredo. The crew was knowledgeable, professional, very attentive, and affable. They took us to a nice snorkeling spot where we saw coral reef, an impressive number of tropical fish, and some “underwater museum” pieces. We then requested the to find a spot of our own (away from other boats) for swimming. The crew provided drinks and kept our glasses full. It was a great and fun day!

Andy Boy we was so amazing from start to finish! He helped us rent a golf cart and had it ready as soon as we got arrived! He made us feel safe and yet allowed us to voice what experience we had wanted since we had been to Isla before. The food was amazing! The staff was even better!!!! He returned our golf cart to round out our experience! We had a blast!

We did the Isla Mujeres catamaran trip whilst exploring Mexico for three weeks in September and it was honestly one of the highlights of our holiday. From start to finish, everything was so well organised and the whole experience felt special. Definitely worth the price.

We booked the catamaran tour from Cancun to Isla Mujeres on January 29, 2026. The crew was friendly and drinks were good. We sat at the back of the boat because my husband had hurt his knee and could not snorkel. There were so many boats in the water and so many people. After snorkeling we headed to the Island for lunch at Za Zas. It was terrible the food was barely edible. I brought granola bars in my bag and ate them. The beach was horrible and smelled really bad. We were then to go by boat to shopping.

Had a fantastic day on board Samba 2 on the 30th Jan. Check in was a little chaotic but once on-board the crew were amazing the hospitality they showed was really outstanding nothing was too much trouble. The boat was spacious and clean and the restrooms were better than you might expect. Drink service was great and flowed all day. The snorkelling was OK and the guides certainly kept safety at the forefront but sadly the reef life was a little disappointing.

A fabulous outing on the Catamaran with Andy Boy and his crew and all our Friends from Texas Heritage Vineyards. Our trip to Cancun was highlighted by this trip cruising off the Cancun coast. The drinks flowed as well as the music brought onboard by our Texas Songwriters and Singers. Wonderful food and fellowship all afternoon. We were kissed by the sun.

Beautiful trip. Golf carts are a bit pricey when going through this tour and the lunch “buffet” is a bit on the weak side. lol.
Otherwise, the crew was fantastic…very friendly, knowledgeable and it was a beautiful excursion.

This was my favorite experience in Cancun! Angie met us as we got out of our van and immediately made us feel welcome and excited for our trip. On board she introduced the crew - the captain, a crew member, and a photographer. She first asked us what we hoped to see and do and she gave us options so we felt that the trip was planned for exactly what we wanted. And throughout the day she kept asking us if the trip was going well and if we wanted to make any changes. She and the other crew members were very attentive to providing drinks and to our comfort.

We had an amazing time! Our crew were super attentive and took care of us throughout the day. Lots of different activities throughout the day to keep us busy. It was well worth the money!

Andy boy on the samba 1 did everything he could to improve our experience. He made every effort to make up for the unfortunate circumstances we endured. Andy boy was the only decent part of excursion.
We booked a private excursion which we did NOT get. We had an hour bus ride, a 2 hour wait for our boat, then my 82 yr old father was shoved from his seat !

Andy was a most accommodating guide for me and my family. He gave us extra attention and tried to make us feel more compensated for the confusion at the beginning of the excursion.

Very kind staff, not much to do however at the island besides shop at all the little stores that carry similar items. Food was ok at the first stop.

I travelled with my two children ages 13 and 11. We had a great tour guide, Angie who was lovely and helpful. Our first stop was at the ZaZa Beach Club. The buffet lunch was nice and drinks were included. (Please note you are unable get an included drink at the beach bar as it is a club experience for people staying there only). The beach was mediocre here.

This was the greatest trip! The crew were really the greatest crew I’ve ever, ever seen. They treated us as very special guests! The special attention and service they provided us was beyond excellent! If you want a really fun experience with great entertainment this is the one for you! Also it’s a small group under 15 people so you were very attended to’. Loved it!

Andy and the rest of the staff were absolutely awesome!! They were upbeat and friendly the entire time, they offered us drinks and water nonstop, the music was great, and the instructions at each stop were really clear so we always knew what to expect. We definitely recommend!

Andy provide a WONDERFUL experience!! We will the seas, snorkels, ate well and explored Isla Muejeres via golf carts! We found some amazing food at Rancho Ccapricho!!! The BEST!!! … and then explored the island culture and sites. Some of our fellow travelers spent the day at the beach which we also heard was superior.

This was sold as a family cruise. Instead it was a floating strip club. Dirty dancing, drunken passengers and crew, and people smoking and vaping everywhere.
Our 12 y.o. child was present.

Catamaran and crew are good and speak both Spanish and English.
Nice lunch and nice stay for 2 1/2 hrs at Isla Mujeres.
Only complaint was the snorkeling was rushed and there was a 20 minute swim.

Isla Morada made our whole day. The boat was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as advertised—easy to enjoy from the second we stepped on. The staff was the real highlight: friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful without being pushy. They explained everything clearly, made sure we felt confident and safe, and still kept the vibe relaxed and fun. You can tell they take pride in what they do. If you’re thinking about renting a boat, book Isla Morada—you’ll be taken care of and you’ll have an amazing time.

On the positive side, the staff was excellent. Attentive, engaging and always ready to assist.
Given the price we paid, I left feeling overcharged. A couple of issues. We opted for lunch at the beach club. And while the beach club looks great, they set aside a big cafeteria style room at the back for you and 200 other people. Nothing nice about it. The beach club is really for those who come there privately. We ended up paying more money to buy hamburgers at the beach club - they weren’t included.

Xavier was the best tour guide, we had such a great time !! All the info and awesome energy he gave really made our experience incredible! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing day on Sombra 1 boat with Andy! Boarding was seamless, and he kept us appraised of the itinerary the whole time! My mom ended up twisting her ankle on the boat, and Andy went above and beyond making sure she was comfortable and still enjoying the experience. If I could rate 20/10 I would! The photographer, bartender, captain and crew were all so so kind!

The crew is absolutely wonderful, and Andrea is incredibly kind and friendly. They take care of everything every single minute and share valuable tips throughout the trip. We came from Playa Del Carmen as a family with 4 years old kid. We really enjoyed together. From the beginning to the end everything was great. Staff are professional, helpful and friendly! This catamaran ride was BEYOND AMAZING!!! Leo and Armando were fricking so spectacular! We didn’t have enough to tip because there is a dock fee is $30/pp but this was such a memorable experience and the photos that were taken for us didn’t feel at all like we were on an ‘excursion’ it felt like we had chartered our own boat. Seriously. Can’t be beat!!! Book it!

Boat ride to the island was nice then we had about 2 hours of time to look around and explore the island before we went back to the boat that took us to a BBQ place for dinner.

I had an awful experience with Oceanix Catamaran, and I would not recommend this tour. From the beginning, the guide Andrés was extremely rude and unprofessional. He clearly did not care about the guests, and at times his behavior felt threatening. His attitude alone ruined much of the experience.

It was super fun! The snorkeling was amazing. Service and hospitality was incredible. Great tour guide and crew. Very friendly and informative. Awesome experience!

It was an amazing tour, would do again. Xavier and Caesar were great host, we felt comfortable with them. They were able to make everyone on the tour feel welcomed.

We had a fantastic time on the Isla Mujeres tour with Samba #3 and Captain Caesar. The entire trip was well organized and so much fun for our family. Xavier was amazing. He is friendly and funny and made sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of.

Overall, the experience was great and very well organized. The crew on Samba 3 was absolutely wonderful — friendly, attentive, and made the day enjoyable.
Unfortunately, the stop at Za Za Beach Club was a big letdown and did not meet expectations. That portion of the experience was disappointing and took away from an otherwise excellent outing.

The boat ride over to Isla Mujeres was fun and enjoyable, the crew played great music and had good drinks. They made sure we had an enjoyable experience at the island and the all you can eat buffet at The Icebar was fantastic with the beach sunset view. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing experience didn't get to go snorkeling water was to choppy. Crew was very polite .got a couple hrs to spend sum free time on the island. Very nice beaches. The buffet had a variety of choices to choose from. Got to watch sunset was ruin by clouds. I would definitely recommend. If you are not a drinker still had juice and water. Great experience with the crew of Samba 4. The actual sailing is the best part with great music and the staff looked after us and made sure we were safe. The snorkelling wasn’t the best since it was a lot of waves. Recommend that you bring flippers as they are not provided. Towels are provided which is nice.

We took the Samba 3 with Guia, pulpo, Capital cesar. It was an amazing experience, one of the favorites of my whole trip. The crew was very professional. I was originally concerned it was going to be a “booze cruise” only, but it was actually very unique and interesting.

We had an amazing time aboard the Samba 3 with the Octopus and his crew. We booked this as part of our wedding celebration. They took such good care of us and the attention to detail was much appreciated. They were so accommodating to our large group with lots of different needs and wants. I can’t thank them enough for making such a memorable experience.

Die Tour an sich war entspannt. Wir waren ca. 6h unterwegs und gerade einmal zu 9. . Die Crew ist sehr freundlich, Getränke sind inklusive und da wird auch nicht gespart. Beim Anlegen auf Isla Mujeres gibt es Mittagessen inklusive, definitiv ausreichend. Anschließend geht es an den Hafen, von dem aus man ca. 1,5-2h "Freizeit" hat.

This trip was amazing! The crew was super fun, had great music, brought us delicious drinks all the time! Captain Cesar was super nice, led us during our snorkeling, and provided us with snorkel gear! Definitely recommend for 18+ super fun trip to isla mujeres downtown and beach club with gorgeous beach and pool, and delicious food and drinks (included with your trip)!! Our catamaran was called Samba 3. Total trip was 7.5-8 hours. Not too crowded on the boat and included docking fees in the price.

We had the most amazing time on the catameran we paid for the upgraded ticket and it was well worth it there were only 13 people on the boat the crew was so attentive and we had a blast! It was a great experience; however it was a bit more slow paced for me and my husbands liking…. If you are looking to relax and take it easy and not worried about getting to your destination- this option is great! Approximately 1 hour going each way to go to/from island; 1.5 at the buffet stop for lunch, and approximately 2 hours at the island.

We hopped on a last minute excursion to Isla Mujeres. Our cataract was well staffed, the food and drinks were plenty and good. Excellent service, great guides and beautiful weather! We will definitely do this again!

We did a friends trip with a gf. We booked through our hotel Margaritaville. We enjoyed a wonderful day on the boat. Lunch at the island was filling but the beach club wasn’t great. Beach was stinky and not swimmable. The north beach area is full of sales people but we enjoyed the beautiful beach, massage and fresh fruit bowls. We would visit again.

The tour was great. We were looked after from start to finish.
Saul explained everything so we knew what was going on for the full day we were on this tour. Catamaran ride, snorkeling, golf cart tour of Isles Majoures was awesome. I would recommend this excursion to everyone.

Desde un inicio ss mostraron amables, en cuanto a tiempos tratan de ser puntuales, las bebidas son ilimitadas tal como lo anuncian solo que algo ligeras, el tiempo en el beach club es reducido si quieren comer é ir a la playa del mismo, ademas el buffet no tiene tantas opciones, por último el tiempo libre es suficiente para poder estar en playa norte, en general creo que es una buena experiencia

El servicio excelente, junto con las actividades de snorkel, el paseo por la isla mujeres, y el tiempo libre en la playa También las bebidas y muy buena música en el samba 1.
La atención de todos, el capitán y en especial del guía Saúl fue excelente, al igual que el ambiente que se generó durante el trayecto.

As a frequent traveller this has been one of the BEST experiences I’ve had on a day trip. We were lucky to go on the Catamaran Samba 2 with Andrea as our fabulous host. She explained every part of the trip clearly in both English and Spanish ( we love the bi lingual queen) the rest of the crew the bartender Gerry and Ganesha and captain Rene were always 10/10. Highly recommend this experience especially with this crew!!!

Me encantó desde que subes la atención de todos en el barco , el capitán , el guía , el fotógrafo , la comida rica aunque me hubiera gustado más disfrutar de otra playa en punta norte

We went to daily sailing to Isla Mujeres with Andrea and the other crew. The organization was excellent! On the sailing the crew was incredible. They were bringing a drinks the whole time and ask if we were okay!

Tuvimos un gran día en el Samba 3 con el Pulpo y el capitán Pantera. Primero fuimos a hacer snorkel, luego a Isla Mujeres, almorzamos e hicimos unas horas de playa. Volviendo pudimos apreciar el artedecer. Todo perfecto.

Tuvimos la suerte de vivir una experiencia inolvidable durante un casamiento a bordo del Samba 3 y no podemos dejar de recomendarlo. Desde el primer momento, el capitán Pantera y el guía Pulpo hicieron que todo fuera perfecto. Su energía, profesionalismo y buena vibra marcaron la diferencia y nos hicieron sentir cuidados y divertidos en todo momento.

La experiencia fue genial. El guia al que le dicen El Pulpo ? se porto atento, amable y servicial. Todo el tiempo estuvo atento a su grupo y no lo dejo hasta que estuvimos en el camioncito rumbo a nuestro hotel.

Saul and his entire crew treated us to a wonderful day. The snorkeling and golf cart rentals were great experiences and we appreciated that safety was always first! I would highly recommend.

Crew is awesome. You share a boat with able 15 other people but everyone has their space. From snorkeling, good food and the beaches of las mujeres I would totally recommend!

Saul with Samba 1 was amazing! We had a blast from snorkeling off the boat, delicious lunch, drinks and the golf cart tour in town. I would 100% recommend this excursion. Everything went smoothly, great communication and an amazing lively crew on the Samba 1.

Samba 2 boat with the best crew, our cap Hugo, and tour guide Pulpo was a blast!!! The whole tour was good overall, personally I recommend not doing the golf cart, but if you wanna drive around the island and take pics while driving then it's good.

Excellent and fun experience! The guides took us to many snorkel spots and the water was stunning and a beautiful blue! We even saw sea turtles! Well worth it!

The sailboat could use some maintenance but the crew and guide were great. Snorkeling went very quickly. The fee was on the high side of fair for a whole day adventure, unfortunately we lost one day of our vacation because they did not pick us up. The atmosphere was very festive.

It was a really fun day out. Staff were amazing and made sure our drinks were topped up at all times. Snorkeling was good fun but MUSA was carnage but no fault to OCEANIX, there must have been at least 5 other catamarans at the site.

Wonderful experiences. Planned and managed a group of 21 including young kids. Very professional and accommodating for a large group. Highly recommended

Alex and team provided a great experience. Only 20 people on the catamaran. Snorkeling, lunch on the island and we added a golf cart rental with Alex as our guide. Ended the day on the beach before a great sail back. Ask for Alex and Samba 4 boat. Great day.

We had the BEST time with Oceanix! Our host Saul was amazing—super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire trip. Im very disappointed when they charged you open bar food sounds super. And you asked for a beer they said beer is hot. No yet after snorkeling. And when u get there to the food. The food the worse.

Good experience. Could have been a little more clearer about snorkeling. You can only snorkel if you know how to swim because you move pretty far from the boat. Although they can swim in pools and beaches,

We were on the Isla Morada and had a blast. Great trip for family and friends. Crew was phenomenal. Weather and ocean were beautiful

The trip was great. Alex let us decide exactly what we wanted to do. We snorkeled and floated around. We went to lunch at a local hutch on the Island and the food was really good.

The advertisement is nothing like what yh actual trip is. we paid almost $300 for a family of 4 then were overcharged for a separate docking fee another $300. they’re handling the over charging issue but the cruise/tour is nothing like it is advertised. Not worth the $500.

The trip was good. The staff was great. Alex was very friendly and kept us entertained. Saadi took great photos and was very helpful throughout the trip. Our daughter mentioned dolphins and the crew took the time to take us by a dolphin show so she could see some. Lunch was late (4:00) and was OK.

The Isla Morada and its crew were amazing!! Very tentative to those on board. Took amazing pics! Helped us get around the boat during the trip to the island and didn’t leave us without a drink in hand! Great music too!

Mixed Experience – Great Crew, But Too Much Upselling and Disappointment on Isla Mujeres We recently went on a catamaran trip with high hopes, and while the crew, especially Andy the tour leader, were absolutely fantastic and made the journey out lively and fun, the rest of the experience left much to be desired.
